What is wagecorp responsible for with PAYE
As the employer, wagecorp is legally responsible for completing all PAYE tasks.
This means wagecorp is responsible for collecting and keeping records of our employee’s details. Wagecorp must collect and keep records of:
-
What we pay our employees and the deductions we make
-
Reports and payments we make to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC)
-
Our employee leave and sickness absences
-
Our employee tax code notices
-
Any taxable expenses or benefits
-
Payroll Giving Schemes, including the agency contract and employee authorisation forms
Our records show that we’ve reported accurately, and we must keep all our records for 3 years from the end of the tax year they relate to. HMRC are able to check our records to ensure we are paying over the correct amount of Income Tax and National Insurance at anytime.
Our accounting platform which is a FCSA Business Partner, enables wagecorp to provide payslips in multiple languages, and ensure the correct tax and national insurance deductions are made for each worker, on time, every time with their wages.
The Smart Pension platform allows us to be fully compliant on a 100% self service basis.
