What has The Government proposed to help Umbrella employees?

Wagecorp employees (those who were employed by their us company no later than 28th February 2020) who find that they have been sent home because there is no work (furloughed), may potentially qualify for this scheme.

The retention scheme entitles the employee to 80% of their wages for three months, backdated to 1st March 2020 and is generally based on averaged earnings.

Wagecorp are looking to finalise their approach to the scheme and are currently waiting for clarity from the Government regarding certain aspects of the scheme, before advising our employees.
